The current Madera Community College at Oakhurst campus, which includes 10 portables situated on four acres, will be improved through the construction of permanent facilities at a new location in Oakhurst.

In July 2018, the District purchased 30 acres of property on Westlake Drive in Oakhurst. Paul Halajian Architects, partnering with Steinberg Hart, was approved by the Board of Trustees in June 2018. Faculty, staff, and students have worked with the architects through the design development phase.

The new campus will include a mixed-use building housing educational, administrative, and community spaces. Work will also include master planning for the entire campus.

As of December 2025, the steel roof structure has been completed and the roofing system installation is in progress. Interior mechanical, plumbing, electric, and fire safety system installation is ongoing. Interior metal stud walls are substantially complete. Site work is ongoing with concrete equipment pads and exterior seat walls being poured.
