International Education Week

November 16th through November 20th

International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Tuesday, November 17th, 10:00 am - 11:00 am: Gilman Twitter Chat

  • For International Education Week, the Gilman Study Abroad Scholarship Program is hosting two Twitter Chats. Twitter Chats are hour-long discussions that allow you to engage in conversation with Gilman Scholarship recipients, alumni, and other advisors. The Gilman Scholarship Twitter account will tweet questions and anyone can respond with the hashtag #GilmanIEW. These Twitter chats will explore different issues surrounding study abroad. We would love to see you join us to share your valuable input! #GilmanIEW
