Ag Complex Modernization & Addition

Project Status

This project provides for modernization and replacement of facilities as deemed necessary to achieve efficient and centralized teaching/learning environments to train students for careers in the new agriculture community of today. Currently, the agriculture program operates in several buildings (Buildings 32, 44, and 49) that constitute the complex. Together, these buildings support instruction in Ag Science, Ag Mechanics and Plant & Natural Resources. Building 32 was built in 1968; Buildings 44 and 49 were built in 1974 and 1979, respectively; all have far exceeded their life expectancies. As such, the spaces are outdated in today’s advanced technologic environment.

The 2025-26 state budget has approved funding for the design phase of this project. Design is planned to begin this Fall. This project will modernize the aging Agriculture Science, Forestry & Natural Resources, and a portion of the Agriculture Mechanics Facilities.
