Police Station and Data Center

This project will provide a new facility for the District Police Department.  The current police facilities are outdated and were not designed to meet the demands of a modern, district-wide public safety agency.  The new facility will contain offices, private meeting rooms, as well as critical infrastructure to support the public safety communications center.  The facility will also contain space for the district telecommunications data center.  The data center is currently located in the Fresno City College old district office on Weldon which no longer provides adequate space for current technology standards. This project is in the criteria documents phase in preparation for procuring a design-build entity and a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for design-build teams is expected to go out before the end of the year.
