About State Center Community College District

State Center Community College District (SCCCD) currently includes four community colleges and two educational centers: Fresno City College, Reedley College, Clovis Community College, Madera Community College, Madera Community College at Oakhurst, and the Career and Technology Center. SCCCD serves approximately 1.7 million people across more than 5,500 square miles, including most of Fresno and Madera counties and parts of Kings and Tulare counties. Remote Work and Return to Work

Many of State Center Community College District employees will continue to work remotely through July 4, 2021. Spring and summer classes will continue to be primarily taught online with some courses and programs that require interaction offered face-to-face.

Covid-19 Vaccine Update April 2021

Although the District is not currently requiring students or employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition to entering District campuses or facilities, the District strongly encourages all faculty, staff, and students to voluntarily receive one of the COVID-19 vaccinations as soon as possible to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Community Input To Select Chancellor

State Center Community College District (SCCCD) has scheduled four virtual community forums to gather public input regarding the search for the next Chancellor. This search is underway as current Chancellor Dr. Paul Parnell retires on July 6, 2021 and Dr. Douglas Houston serves as interim chancellor beginning May 1, 2021.
