Apprenticeship Opportunities

Sep 19, 2023

Breaking News -

State Center Community College District (SCCCD) was awarded $1.1 million from the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency to provide additional upskilling opportunities for stranded Bitwise workers and the next generation of workers in Madera and Fresno Counties.

SCCCD funding will continue the District’s tech-focused apprenticeships, filling the void in current and future apprenticeship programs in our region. Plans are to ignite and operationalize an expansive training program and network that the District plans to continually invest in through partner resource efforts to grow and support this necessary program.

The District's workforce training and industry collaboratives are models of excellence in the community college system and faculty, staff and students eagerly await investment to accelerate these programs for the benefit of Central Valley residents and California’s future workforce.

SCCCD is grateful to the California Workforce Agency Secretary Stewart Knox for his ongoing support and his attention to the needs of the Central Valley.

Express your interest in apprenticeship opportunities by filling out the form.
