California Agriculture Export Training Program

"One World, Your World, Your Market"

 

Program Overview:

The California Agricultural Export Training Program (CalAgX) benefits the producers, processors and marketers of California grown or processed specialty crops. The program consists of 3 sessions representing 5 classes. Each of the 3 sessions has been designed to meet the learning needs of new-to-export or non-exporting food and agriculture companies. If you are unable to make it to one of the sessions you will be able to attend either of the other two classes that week. The Clovis sessions will also be videotaped. Sessions consist of:

  • Class 1: Marketing – includes one-to-one meetings with companies
  • Class 2: Logistics
  • Class 3: Legal & Banking
  • Class 4: Export Documentation
  • Class 5: Foreign Market Requirements

Training Information:

  • Sacramento: February 26, March 12, and March 26
  • Clovis: February 27, March 13, and March 27
  • Los Angeles: February 28, March 14, and March 28

How much does it cost? How do I register?

Each of the three sessions has been designed to meet the learning needs of new-to-export or non-exporting food and agriculture companies. Training will be conducted concurrently in Northern California.
