Online Orientation
New Student Orientation
After completion of the admissions application, all new students are required to complete the "New Student Orientation." The orientation will help you become familiar with college life, understand what is expected from you as a student, and learn about college programs and services that will help you succeed in college.
The orientation will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete. We encourage you to carefully review each section of the orientation as it will provide you with valuable information to help you succeed in college.
Please note:
- The Online Orientation will be available for RTG students beginning December 1 st at 7:00 a.m. . You will receive information at a later time on how to access the online orientation. Please note, if you complete the existing online orientation prior to December 1 st at 7:00 a.m., you will not receive credit for the orientation.
- If you currently have an orientation hold, completing the orientation will clear your orientation hold within 2 business days, Monday - Friday.

Orientation Login Instructions
Your username is your student ID number.
Please note, in order to receive a student ID number you must first complete the admissions application. Applications are processed daily between Monday through Friday but it might take up to 24 for your application to process. Once your application is processed, your student ID number will be sent to you via email.
Your password is your first initial (upper case), your last initial (lower case), and your 6-digit date of birth.
For example, student John Smith was born on January 1, 1997 and has a student ID number of 0123456. John's login information would be:
Username: 0123456
Password: Js010197
Under "Role" select "Student" from the dropdown menu and then click "Login"
Once you login, click on "Enroll in Course" and complete each of the orientation modules.
After completing the orientation you will receive a confirmation email to your SCCCD student Email account.
In April, you will receive an email informing you of your registration day and time that has been assigned to you based on your orientation completion date.
